- Dans ce genre de cas, il y a plusieurs choses à faire :
- d’abord au niveau littéraire : trouver et confirmer le ou les mots manquants
- ensuite technique, et là les techniques varient selon les wikisources et les wikisourciers. Certains (la plupart ?) placent le mot sur la page sans rien faire d’autres, certains utilisent des modèles (à ma connaissance, on n’a pas encore ce genre de modèle ici), d’autres vont carrément éditer le fac-similé. À ma connaissance, il n’y a rien de vraiment coordonné, ni même de réellement efficace.
- Pour la confirmation, je vois que le livre est présent à la Bibliothèque de Rennes, je vais aller y faire un tour aujourd’hui ou demain pour voir. Sachant que le mot manquant peut soit d'un problème avec l’édition soit juste avec cet exemplaire. Pour la technique, je dirais de faire au plus simple (« Ce n'est pas une garantie de réussite, mais au moins c'est une garantie de non-frustration. » Willy Rozenbaum).

- Bon, je suis allé voir à la bibliothèque de Rennes, il y a la même erreur d’impression. Il est probable qu’elle se retrouve dans toute l’édition.
- En attendant une hypothétique autre source, la solution de mettre entre parenthèses me semble ce qu’il y a de mieux. Peut-être que des crochets serait plus appropriés et une note disant « Note Wikimammenn : erreur d’impression » serait la bienvenue (mais je ne sais pas exactement comment le dire en breton : fazi moulañ, fazi moulladur ?).

Announcing Wikipedia 1.19 beta kemmañ
Wikimedia Foundation is getting ready to push out 1.19 to all the WMF-hosted wikis. As we finish wrapping up our code review, you can test the new version right now on beta.wmflabs.org. For more information, please read the release notes or the start of the final announcement.
The following are the areas that you will probably be most interested in:
- Faster loading of javascript files makes dependency tracking more important.
- New common*.css files usable by skins instead of having to copy piles of generic styles from MonoBook or Vector's css.
- The default user signature now contains a talk link in addition to the user link.
- Searching blocked usernames in block log is now clearer.
- Better timezone recognition in user preferences.
- Improved diff readability for colorblind people.
- The interwiki links table can now be accessed also when the interwiki cache is used (used in the API and the Interwiki extension).
- More gender support (for instance in logs and user lists).
- Language converter improved, e.g. it now works depending on the page content language.
- Time and number-formatting magic words also now depend on the page content language.
- Bidirectional support further improved after 1.18.
Report any problems on the labs beta wiki and we'll work to address them before they software is released to the production wikis.

Wsexport: an automatic export tool for Wikisource kemmañ

An export tool for Wikisource books, Wsexport, is currently in active development. It is a tool for exporting Wikisource's texts in EPUB, ODT and other file formats. It was created for French Wikisource, but it's also available for the other Wikisource subdomains. It can be used directly from its page on Toolserver.org (for texts in all languages, use "www" for oldwikisource), or browsing http://wsexport.fr.nf (currently only for French Wikisource's texts).
In order to work, the tool need some configuration from your Wikisource subdomain, This page explains how to do it. Currently French, Italian, English, and German Wikisource does it.

Bibliothèque de Cavan kemmañ
- La Bibliothèque de Cavan devrait avoir cette année un catalogue en ligne de son fond en langue bretonne [1]. Je suis passée à cette bibliothèque l'année dernière, il ne font pas "encore" de prêt de livre. Cela pourrait être intéressant mais plusieurs questions me viennent à l’esprit :
- y a-t-il des ouvrages anciens ? (dans le sens : suffisamment anciens pour être dans le domaine public, surtout qu’avec la nouvelle donne aux USA cela peut potentiellement se compliquer). La phrase Il est essentiellement constitué d'éditions contemporaines, n'ayant pas vocation de conservation. me fait fortement douter…
- conseil régional ou général ? saurais-tu qui plus précisément au conseil ? (je connais un peu de monde au conseil régional)
- la numérisation pourrait-elle se faire en interne ? (pour éviter l’étape de prêt )
- pour information, Wikimedia France devrait pouvoir assez facilement nous soutenir pour ce genre d’actions.

URAA kemmañ
Pour vous tenir au courant de l’« actualité » du droit d’auteur, je vous fait un résumé rapide (vous pourrez d’autres informations ailleurs). Il faut que je vous parle de l’URAA. L’URAA (pour Uruguay Round Agreements Act mais le nom ne veut pas dire grand’chose) est un loi américaine telle qu’un certain nombre d’œuvres du domaine public sont de nouveau copyrightées aux États-Unis. Cette loi existe depuis plus de dix ans et en gros personne ne l’appliquait tellement cela semblait invraisemblable que des œuvres entrent puis sortent du domaine public. Il y a quelques jours, la cour suprême des USA vient pourtant de confirmer la validité de cette loi.
Or les serveurs des projets Wikimedia se trouvent aux États-Unis et logiquement tout les projets devraient respecter la loi américaine. Concrètement cela signifierait la suppression de nombreux contenus (notamment, on a des estimations d’environ 1,2 millions de fichiers numériques à supprimer sur Wikimedia Commons !). En gros, tout les œuvres publiés depuis 1923 sont potentiellement concernées (et ce pour une protection de 95 ans après publication).
Pour le moment, pas d’urgence ni d’affolement (après tout cela fait 10 ans que la loi exsite), on est surtout en attente d’un avis légal spécifique à notre cas voire d’une décision de la Foundation.

- Je n’ai pas trop compris le premier problème. Il arrive que les menegerioù ne mettent pas les couleurs à jour immédiatement.
- Pour le second, si tu parles bien de Dibar:PajennoùMeneger, le problème concerne toutes les wikisources. Il est connu et corrigé. Il faut juste attendre la prochaine mise à jour de MediaWiki pour que la correction soit appliquée.

Idées kemmañ
Bon matin,
J'aimerai bien voir dans nos pages Konchennoù : eus bro ar ster aon de Oberour:Yann ar Floc’h. Si d'aventures certains avait accès à ce document, n'hésitez pas, j'aurais plaisir à travailler dessus.
Ensuite, deux espèces de méta projet me traversaient l'esprit. Le premier était de réunir l'intégrale des travaux de Jakez Riou. Son œuvre est à la fois conséquente et déjà bien avancée. Pour les deux ans, un coup de projecteur sur du concret me semble plus percutant. Exemple « Wikimammenn : L'intégrale de Jakez Riou pour son deuxième anniversaire ! » je trouve ça accrocheur.
Un coup de projecteur sur les vies des saints me semble intéressant aussi. Pas forcément en une car le sujet peut sembler poussiéreux de prime abord. Mais avoir en ligne trois versions est excellent.

- Pour les Konchennoù, j’ai cherché rapidement sans succès (rien sur Google Books, Internet Archive, Gallica, ou Rennes 2). Selon sbib.si.leschampslibres.fr ou catalogue.bnf.fr, il y a eu deux éditions, en 1950 et 2002. Or Yann ar Floc’h est mort en 1936, n’y a-t-il pas une édition de son vivant ? (je suis pas sur de savoir comment cela se passe au niveau des droits pour une édition posthume). Enfin bref, l’édition de 1950 est présente dans les bibliothèques de Brest, Quimper, Lorient et Rennes.
- Le travail sur oberour:Jakez Riou avance bien mais il reste encore du chemin. Actuellement, on a pas mal de textes courts, ce serait assez facile à valider rapidement (d’ailleurs, je commence de suite !). Effectivement, cela serait accrocheur.
- La vie des Saints par contre, si c’est extrêmement intéressant sur le plan littéraire, c’est quand même beaucoup moins accrocheur pour le grand public. Il faudrait plutôt essayer de communiquer là-dessus auprès de chercheurs ou d’institutionnels.

L'intégrale, oui, ce serait bien, ça permettrait de proposer un accès propre et sûr pour les lecteurs intéressés, sans les obliger à naviguer de meneger gwiriekaet en adlennet... La page auteur, ou une autre, devrait être un vrai accès simple. Sur l'orthographe, je viens de mettre un commentaire dans sa page auteur Kaozeadenn_oberour:Jakez_Riou, il y a des choses à préciser selon les éditions. J'avais lâché le travail durant trois mois, mais je reviens.

The Wikimedia Foundation is planning to do limited testing of IPv6 on June 2-3. If there are not too many problems, we may fully enable IPv6 on World IPv6 day (June 6), and keep it enabled.
What this means for your project:
- At least on June 2-3, 2012, you may see a small number of edits from IPv6 addresses, which are in the form "
2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334". See e.g. w:en:IPv6 address. These addresses should behave like any other IP address: You can leave messages on their talk pages; you can track their contributions; you can block them. (See the full version of this announcement for notes on range blocks.)
- In the mid term, some user scripts and tools will need to be adapted for IPv6.
- We suspect that IPv6 usage is going to be very low initially, meaning that abuse should be manageable, and we will assist in the monitoring of the situation.

- Projet louable. Mais ce qui m’interpelle c’est justement les contenus. A priori il faut à chaque fois passer par un outils Google pour pouvoir mettre quoi que ce soit (Picasa pour les photos, Youtube pour les videos et sons ou Google doc pour les documents). Ces échantillons ne seraient en fait pas libre (c’est pas très clair pour moi), ou du moins il faut l’autorisation de l’auteur à chaque fois qu'on soumet un échantillon. Je ne sais pas si on est près d’avoir beaucoup de contenu. Gwendal (kaozeal)

- Une recherche multi-critère sur le catalogue en ligne donne 1347 résultats pour Langue de publication Breton. Impressionnant. Après tous ne sont pas dans le domaine public et seulement quelques uns sont numérisés mais cela en vaut tout de même la peine car il semble y avoir de vrais trésors. En regardant rapidement, je suis déjà tombé sur Ar posiou Brezonec Kerné troet et Gallec Jean Le Scao (pas dans le domaine public avant 2024 mais très intéressant). Il faudrait faire le tri et indiquer les livres que l’on peut rependre sur la page Wikimammenn:Danvez e brezhoneg war ar genrouedad.

As many of you are aware, the Wikimedia Board of Trustees recently initiated important changes in the way that money is being distributed within the Wikimedia movement. As part of this, a new community-led "Funds Dissemination Committee" (FDC) is currently being set up. Already in 2012-13, its recommendations will guide the decisions about the distribution of over 10 million US dollars among the Foundation, chapters and other eligible entities.

Wikidata is getting close to a first roll-out kemmañ

As some of you might already have heard Wikimedia Deutschland is working on a new Wikimedia project. It is called m:Wikidata. The goal of Wikidata is to become a central data repository for the Wikipedias, its sister projects and the world. In the future it will hold data like the number of inhabitants of a country, the date of birth of a famous person or the length of a river. These can then be used in all Wikimedia projects and outside of them.
The project is divided into three phases and "we are getting close to roll-out the first phase". The phases are:
- language links in the Wikipedias (making it possible to store the links between the language editions of an article just once in Wikidata instead of in each linked article)
- infoboxes (making it possible to store the data that is currently in infoboxes in one central place and share the data)
- lists (making it possible to create lists and similar things based on queries to Wikidata so they update automatically when new data is added or modified)
It'd be great if you could join us, test the demo version, provide feedback and take part in the development of Wikidata. You can find all the relevant information including an FAQ and sign-up links for our on-wiki newsletter on the Wikidata page on Meta.

Fundraising localization: volunteers from outside the USA needed kemmañ

Hello All,
The Wikimedia Foundation's Fundraising team have begun our 'User Experience' project, with the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries outside the USA and enhancing the localization of our donation pages. I am searching for volunteers to spend 30 minutes on a Skype chat with me, reviewing their own country's donation pages. It will be done on a 'usability' format (I will ask you to read the text and go through the donation flow) and will be asking your feedback in the meanwhile.
The only pre-requisite is for the volunteer to actually live in the country and to have access to at least one donation method that we offer for that country (mainly credit/debit card, but also real-time banking like IDEAL, E-wallets, etc...) so we can do a live test and see if the donation goes through. All volunteers will be reimbursed of the donations that eventually succeed (and they will be low amounts, like 1-2 dollars)
